Who We Are

M. Johnson Case Management Group was founded in 2007 by Mary Johnson, RN, CCM, under the name M. Johnson & Associates. With more than 24 years of nursing experience, Mary established the company with a clear mission: to improve outcomes for individuals recovering from motor vehicle-related injuries by providing expert guidance, advocacy, and coordinated care.

Since its founding, the organization has grown to a team of five experienced case managers and has positively impacted the lives of more than 750 patients and their families throughout Michigan. In 2026, Mary retired, passing leadership of the company to her longtime colleague and friend, Renee Braun. Renee brings more than 33 years of experience in nursing and case management and holds certification in Wound Care and from the Commission of Case Management, further strengthening the company's commitment to delivering exceptional, informed, patient-centered case management.

Today, M. Johnson Case Management Group remains dedicated to the values and mission established at its inception—helping individuals with life-changing injuries navigate complex healthcare systems, access quality care, and achieve the best possible recovery outcomes. The company is proud to maintain active membership in the Brain Injury Association of Michigan, the Case Management Society of America (CMSA), and the Michigan Brain Injury Provider Council, reflecting its ongoing commitment to professional excellence and advocacy for those it serves.

The Divi Divi Tree and Our Mission

Native to Aruba, Divi Divi trees are known for bending in the same direction, shaped by the island’s constant trade winds. Long used as a navigational guide, they stand as a symbol of resilience, thriving despite harsh conditions.

At M. Johnson Case Management, the Divi Divi tree reflects our mission to provide guidance, support, and advocacy through life's challenges. We help our clients navigate the path to recovery, empowering them to build resilience and thrive.
